The "Duke" began his radio career as the Duke of Earl AKA The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla during his time in college learning broadcasting. He started interning at WZKL 92.5 FM Radio playing the greatest hits of Rock and Roll. The Duke began holding down the NITE SHIFT on Weekends and holidays as Earl Chandler, The Duke of Rock and Roll. The deep voice of the "Duke" got the attention of lots of late night listeners. Sadly WZKL KOOL 92.5 FM doesn't roll any longer. That station along with it's music are now part of the History of Rock and Roll. Earl also did sporting shows for WDPN 1310 as an engineer.
The Duke still spins the great songs of Rock and Roll as well as a wide variety of other music from Big Bands to Rap, from Rock to Reggae, Contemporary to Country and is the lead conductor on the Magical Music Express.
The Duke has an amazing ability to create thousands of character voices. He can impersonate many celebrity voices like Marlon Brando's “The Godfather”, Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Peter Lorre and many others. His favorite stars to impersonate are Wolfman Jack and Cheech Marin. The Duke is very talented at voice over work or voicing several characters in a single production.
